| | Do you get involved in the squables at work? | | I work in the clothing department of a fairly new store, in childrens mostly. So, I'm the only person other than the manager in my department who is over 25 and the only one who isn't assigned to womens' fashion. The past few days the young girls have been coming to me one at a time and conplaining about each other, how nobody else seems to be doing any work in womens' wear. Truth be told, they are all slacking off quite badly. They expect me to get involved and report to the manager about them slacking off. As if she doesn't know who is and isn't working. So, today, the manager came to me and bluntly asked if there was aome griping and argueing going on, so I told her the truth. And now, I've been told NOT to help them, but just to stick to my own area and let them sink or swim on their own. Then she called them all in theback room and reamed them all out. Now, they are all mad at me, because I didn't stick up for at least one of them. I hate working with young kids! | |
