myLot Discussions| What is the longest period you have not had a bath? | | Don't be shy.......we all have been through a very lazy weekend....or a very long vacation...no plans, nothing going on, too tired to get up, then suddenly you realize one thing..."ooops, I have not taken a bath for days now".... I did ask my friends about it and I learned they're worse than me, I had one friend who lasted one whole week without taking a shower! Well, he was so embarrassed about it, and have no plans whatsoever of doing it again. We had a good laugh! But hey, let's be for real... we do get too tired to jump in the shower sometimes, eh? | |

Ruined It? | | I see more and more discussions here about the significant others of MyLot members becomming disgruntled about the amount of time their partners spend here.MyLot can be addicting, but some members spend half of the day here and neglect their other responsibilities.
I have been guilty of this too, and it did cause conflict with my wife. I think I have found a balance now and limit my time here so that I'm not always found plucking away at the keyboard while she looks at the back of my head.I wonder exactly how many members here have had a conflict with their SO's over the amount of time they spend here...Did your SO make it clear that they felt neglected?Did they give you an ultimatum to quit or spend a reasonable amount of time posting?Did they bash MyLot and you too?Did you give the dog a bath today? | |

My son & i had a fuss this afternoon, want go into details, know u aren't interested. Anytime i disagree w/him i'm the Dirty Dog. Do they think when u get old that u don't have any right or sense to have your own opinions on things. Do they have the right to jump on u? I don't think so. What do y'all think? TODAY when he went to pick up my grandson at daycare my grandson's little best friend come running up to him & ask him what time were they leaving sun.My son ask him where they w2ere going. He said to the " Ballamamas" that my grandson had ask him to go w/him. Do u think they'll still be best friends now or will my son just be the dirty dog that told him he couldn't go. Aren't kids wonderful?

| | The Phone Company Ruined My Discussion!!! | | That's right......you read that correctly......the DAM phone company has taken my well thought out discussion and crushed it like an aluminum can in a homeless bum's shopping cart.Let me give you a little back story.A couple of months ago some crooked fly by night, dirty dog company tried to charge me for services I never ordered in a 3rd party bill on my phone bill.
I had dealings with this company before several months ago.
They try to stick you for a bill and hope you don't notice the extra charge on your phone bill.So I did exactly what I did the first time I noticed these crooks on my phone bill...
I called the company and told them "no way in Hell was I paying for something I never asked for" then I called the phone company and asked them to do a chargeback to the company and informed them that I would be deducting that amount($8.56) before I sent my bill payment.Well, when my personal accountant, missybear, paid the bill, she mis-calculated the deduction and actually sent the phone company[b].20 CENTS[/b] less than she should have.So now when we get our new bill there's a[b]$5.00 late fee and a notice to pay the .20 cents IMMEDIATELY!!![/b]... | |

| | Trying To Catch Up With All Of You! | | Gosh! What a summer I've had! It's been a summer from hell! BUT... I've made it this far and I think I'll make it the rest of the way. As most of you know, my parents are moving. Their "old" house is four hours north of their new one. So with all the painting, cleaning and carpet stretching to be done with their new house and then the packing and cleaning of their old house, my dad and his health - in and out of the hospital three times in two weeks time, taking him to get set up with his new doctor (2 hours drive west of here) so he could be transfered closer to his new home, and mom losing her beloved cat due to the move and we've been looking for her to no avail and posting signs and going door to door giving out flyers, mom and the bank having troubles with a couple of checks that never made it to their destination thanks to the postal service and a bank draft made twice on her account which messed up her account really bad that she can't balance it, it's been one stressful summer to say the least. I'M EXHAUSTED! LOL and it's not over yet! Today they'll officially be out of their old house and my nephew and his fiance will take it over and hopefully they'll buy it within the... | |
| | Carolee in Wonderland. | | My mother used to say I wore rose colored glasses. I always wanted things to be perfect, happy and romantic. I saw flowers, rainbow and sunsets. I never heard augments, bad thoughts or fighting. As an only child, I would retreat into a make believe world. I had dolls, doll houses, and paper cut outs to play with. I had a make-believe friend, Lilly. She and I would play with my toys and laugh and sing.My favorite book was The Secret Garden.
